Julie combined two of our favorite materials here. First, we love the sparkle of druzy (drusy). Druzy is the sparkly part of this quartz gemstone and it can be found on a wide variety of gems. All those little points sparkle like crazy.

She also hand made a riveted pendant out of copper and silver Mokume Gane. Mokume is a Japanese invention very similar to Damascus steel in that multiple layers of alternating metals and stacked up and pressed together. The resulting mix of the sterling silver and copper (in this case) is then sliced and we buy it in flat sheets that look like wood grain made of metal. 

One of a kind for sure.
