Lab Created Alexandrite Ring With Lab Tanzanite Accent
Trying to photograph alexandrite (natural or lab created) is like trying to catch the proverbial greased pig. This gemstone changes color - under man-made light it flashes purple and red, but take it out to some natural light and you will see blue and green. (Natural alexandrite is more expensive than diamonds.)
Julie set this 6.0 mm coloring changing lab alexandrite in nice heavy band of gold over sterling silver and accented it with a bezel set 3.0 mm tanzanite colored lab grown sapphire.
The ring is size 7 as you see it, but the open construction allows it to go up or down in size with ease.
