One of our customers has been collecting turquoise for decades. She recently decided that she wanted to sell some of her collection and she was nice enough to bring some pieces into our store on consignment.
There are some signed pieces - the big bracelet below (which weighs about 7 ounces - was made by Gary Reeves.
Speaking of bracelets - this one was made at a time when the economy was bad, so the artisans used German silver (which is not silver) instead of sterling - but look at the beauty of the gemstones.
The turquoise in this bolo is pretty amazing - can you see the pyrite?
