Chimera Design now has the

Digital Goldsmith from GemVision.

We have added the Digital Goldsmith to our arsenal. What is DG? Glad you asked. It is a fantastic computer design software package that will allow YOU to design jewelry in our showroom and have a color model on the computer screen when you do it. Cliff has worked with this amazing software in the past and he is geeked to be able to work with YOU on your jewelry projects.Here are some examples of the Digital Goldsmith in action.

Carol came in with a 6x4 oval diamond and a pair of 4mm round diamonds. She wanted to use all of her diamonds to create a new ring. We decided to add some 2mm pricess cuts to the ring for a little more bling. Here is the design:

Carol loved it, so we went ahead.

Here you can see three steps to Bling! We started with 2 rings and

their diamonds - created a design using those diamonds on GemVision.

Then we cut the wax according to the design - cast the ring and set the Bling! .

Aaron came in with an idea for

an anniversary ring. He drew it on a piece of paper.

It had 10 diamonds for 10 years and

would feature their two childrens

birthstones in the center.

We created a CAD image and made the ring below:

Alisa had a big round purple stone and wanted it in a ring

with some diamonds. She liked this design above.

Bob wanted to celebrate his anniversary with

a new ring. We used the marquise from their wedding ring

and accented it with birthstones of their daughters.
